It has been a while. I missed writing but I felt today was fitting. Happy Easter! I think I will do a Feb-March update in another post, but here’s my main update:
૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა I PASSED MY EXAM! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა
I feel so relieved now. Your girl is officially certified. :)
Now, let’s begin,
In this life, there are moments when the road seems too tough to travel, and the dreams we once held dear appear distant, almost unattainable. There are moments when giving up seems to be the easiest option.
It's in these moments of despair and doubt that we must remind ourselves of the profound truth: God hears our prayers and cries, and He never forsakes those who trust in Him.
Psalm 120:1 – I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.
Despite the challenges and setbacks we face, we are called to persevere and to hold onto our dreams with unwavering faith. Keep holding on, friends!
Persistence is the key that unlocks the door to our dreams. It's the unwavering determination to keep moving forward, even when every fiber of our being screams to give up.
Believe me, there have been so many times when I wanted to quit.
Think about the countless stories of success born out of sheer persistence – from inventors who failed hundreds of times before achieving their breakthrough to athletes who faced defeat after defeat but refused to surrender.
But persistence isn't just about sheer willpower; it's also about having faith in something greater than ourselves. It's about trusting in God's plan for our lives, knowing that He hears every prayer and every cry of our hearts. When we align our persistence with His will, incredible things start to happen.
In times of despair and uncertainty, prayer becomes our lifeline. It's our direct line of communication with the Almighty, a sacred space where we can pour out our hearts and seek guidance, comfort, and strength. The beauty of prayer lies in its simplicity – we don't need grand gestures or eloquent words; we simply need to come as we are, with sincerity and humility.
Even when it feels like our prayers are falling on deaf ears, we must remember that God's timing is perfect. He sees the bigger picture, and His plans far exceed our understanding. Our role is to continue praying fervently, trusting that He is working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail for our good.
In the depths of despair, it's easy to lose sight of God's promises. But His word stands as a beacon of hope in the darkest of nights, reminding us that He is faithful to fulfill what He has spoken. Whether it's the promise of provision, protection, or purpose, we can cling to these truths with unwavering confidence.
One such promise is found in Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." These words serve as a powerful reminder that God's intentions for our lives are good, and He will never abandon us, even in our darkest hour.
On the day of my exam, I wrote Jeremiah 29:11 on my notepad and prayed before I began the exam. I felt God in that exam room with me that day. I could not have done this without him.
As we navigate the ups and downs of life, let us hold fast to the truth that God hears our prayers and cries. Let us embrace the power of persistence, knowing that our dreams are within reach if we refuse to give up. And let us anchor our hope in God's promises, trusting that He is always working behind the scenes, weaving together a beautiful tapestry of purpose and destiny. So, my friend, never give up – for the God who hears our prayers is faithful to fulfill His promises.
You may not believe in God, but I do and this is my story. This is my testimony. I will keep sharing him and lifting his name for he changed me. He has never failed me.
This is the verse that got me through the season of waiting. Psalms 27:14
